Post Production Evaluation

I believe that the post production ran smoothly and allowed us to be able to finish all of the post production quickly but to a high quality. We separated the filmed sections in to 3 different files for each actor this made it a lot easier for us to find the shots for each actor. When we had sorted all of the film clips in to the folders we could get started on the editing. We used Adobe Premier Pro this software allows us to easily be able to put the video all together and add in the soundtrack. I watched some tutorials on the software so that I could do the basics and be able to edit shots together. We also then added in filters to make it look like the original and added in blur where they had in the original video. In the editing, I believe we developed the video by making some shots go on longer than the original but overall it is very similar. If I was to do something differently next time I would make sure that I would label all of the clips so I did not keep opening up the

Production Evaluation

In the production section I believe we did very well getting the whole video filmed very quickly, this was due to the good planning which allowed us to know what we needed to do. When we filmed the piece, we made sure that the angle and framing of the shots where as close as possible to the original one. We have also developed conventions using the same lighting and white background but at the same time have made some shots longer. We also worked very hard to make sure that the actors lip syncing looked as real as possible we did this by having all of the actors actually sing the song as this always looks a lot better than then just portending to sing the song. Overall, I believe that the filming of the music video went very well as we made sure all of the shots where as close as possible but at the same time filmed all of the shots in a very small amount of time. If I was to change anything that I did I would make sure that when we film a shot we clearly mark that we have done

Pre-production Evaluation

In the preproduction, we worked as a group of 7 to create a story board within this we picked the music video “FourFiveSeconds” by Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney. We then watched the clip to and pulled out all of the different shot and created a story board to allow us to know what happens where and also how long the shots are, we all did a section each and as there was 7 of us it made it very quick. This then allowed us to be able to look at what they are wearing and as a group could decide what each one of the actors needed to wear. Then we had to decide where to film the piece, this was an easy decision as because the video always has a white backroom the white room was an obvious choice. Also as there was only one prop which was a guitar it was very easy to find this guitar. I believe that of the pre-production allowed us to be able to create a very successful video. When choosing the costumes we developed what they had used as are actor for Rihanna did not wear a denim j
